SHENDL RUSSELL, AYRSHIRE SCOTLAND

Shendl Russell is presently the President of the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing having spent many previous years as the Chair of the organization. In these positions she has contributed much to the present popularity and forward moving developments in Highland dancing. Ms. Russell is also a sought after Coach of Highland dancers including several World Champions, an Examiner for the SDTA,and a an Adjudicator. She has travelled extensively in Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and, of course, Scotland performing these duties. We are very pleased to be able to offer Ms. Russell's expertise in our courses at Whistler.

FRANCES PATERSON, EDINBURGH SCOTLAND

Frances Paterson is one of Scotland's most successful Teachers having taught many Champion Dancers including Gregor Bowman and David Wilton. She is an Independent Member of the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing and a Member of both the Technical Committee and the Judges' Committee. An Examiner for the UKA as well as an Adjudicator, Ms. Paterson has also travelled extensively to various countries where Highland dancing is popular. She is also the Organizer of the very popular International Dance Festival held in Musselburgh in August and which includes the British Open championships, the British Overseas championships and the Scottish Boys' Championship. We are very happy to have Ms Russell as one of our in outstanding instructors at Whistler.

ELIZABETH LOW, FORFAR SCOTLAND

Elizabeth Low is also one of Scotland's most successful teachers. She presently has a several students who regularly appear in the prize lists at major Championships and competitions. Ms. Low is an Adjudicator for the SOBHD having just judged her first Canadian Championship in Victoria, she is also an Examiner for the UKA. We welcome Ms. Low to Whistler and know that you will benefit from her instruction.

BILL TROOCK, EDMONTON ALBERTA

Bill Troock is certainly one of Canada's most popular Instructor, Adjudicator and Examiner. He runs a very successful dance studio in Edmonton and has taught and developed many Champion Highland Dancers. Bill is also the Organizer's Chair for ScotDance Canada and as such is fully conversant with the Rules and Regulations for ScotDance. He has travelled extensively both judging and teaching throughout Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Scotland.
